2010 Boston Bruins blow a 3-0 series lead in the ECSF against the Philadelphia Flyers and blow a 3-0 lead in the game 7 of the series.

Only the 3rd team to lose a 3-0 series lead, and the first since 1975.

2011 Boston Red Sox blow a 9 game lead in the wild card race to the Tampa Bay rays. Losing the final game of the season in the 9th inning with a 3-2 lead.

Sets record for biggest lead blown in September.

Red Sox vs Rays. RedSox had a 99.7% chance of winning the division entering September. Pretty sure the odds of winning 4 straight games would be higher.

How is this not close?

97% odds a month away from the season ends sounds bizarre, probably using projected stats which is just dumb.

The Rays had a 1-in-278 million chance of winning.

No it's not even close.

1-in-278 million chance of winning from when? Using ridiculous madeup odds doesn't help your argument.
