So I am looking to buy my first road bike, prob off Bikesdirect.com

Budget: 300-350

This is my first road bike so im guessing i dont need anything crazy serious, going to use for
endurance riding like about 15-20 miles at a time.

Mabye try MS150 on it etc.


pls help, dont know much about bikes any brands, parts to have, type etc would help alot thanks!

For that kind of budget, you're looking at a new no-name bike from Walmart, Target, etc., or a used Trek or Giant (or something similar.)

If you don't plan on thrashing the hell out of your bike, a no-name frameset might be adequate for your needs.

However, a name brand frameset will typically have better welds, lighter framesets, and have better components.

buy a used one. You won't get a decent new one for that price. None that's worth the investment anyways
