How can you even compare the two? Alonso can't play Tennis, Nadal can't drive a F1 car. Stupid poll.

Simple. Driving a car is not a sport. And there are tons more tennis players than there are F1 drivers, so it's harder to reach the top.

dont you need to compete in a sport to be considered an athlete...

i wasn't aware turning a wheel and pushing a pedal counted as a sport

try to drive an f1 in competitions, all the 'g's they r getting make it a freaking hard sport, not alot of ppls in it bc not alot of ppls would be able to drive it.

sayin f1 isnt a sport is just a dumb answer,

sure there's an element of competition, much like class peers competing for a higher GPA etc

but there is not near the athletic skill required in racecar driving, compared to real sports
