figure skating is a seriously miss understood sport, its both competitive and athletic, imo it deserves a sub-forum of its own.

it has been tried in the past by me and others to get a sub-forum for it created, its about time that you ppl recognize figure skating as a real sport and just give us our forum.

its expected that there will be disagreement about it deserving a sub-forum but please try to keep from having a patri pris, and actually take the time to consider the reasons why it deserves a forum. after-all hockey got its own forum and figure skating is more sporting and competitive.

please, other fellow figure skating lovers vouch the need for our own forum.

the sports coliseum sub forums is a bit whack...
they should have included figure skating in the hockey forums and called it 'Ice Sports'
along with curling

what really glares @ me how the "Basketball' forum is clearly labelled and not pertaining to a specific league ( aka euros can talk freely about euroleagues legitimately etc etc )
but the "NFL & College Football" forum is allowed discussion on only those two leagues? loool.....
even "Hockey' & "Baseball" sfs apply to my point... why is NFL & College football getting served on a platter? and i hope no1 uses the 'World Futbol' sf as defense

exactly i tried to push for the "ice sports" forum in the past and just combine them all together but had no luck, imo it would be the logical thing to do.

About the topic!

Figure skating is a pretty cool sport but I don't think there are many people here who follow it enough to have a forum about it. The 'ice sports' is a good idea though sledding.. speed skating.. figure skating.. curling.. etc etc
