I am looking to start this, probably not investing to much into it to start out with I understand oar's and stuff add up but I'm not buying a $1,000 kayak to start looking around 300-500 range (max)

My question is though like anyone got suggestions for like what I need getting started?

Oar
Kayak
Roof mount for my Jeep (PS does anyone know where I can get these?)

Anyway just curious to see thoughts/opinions/advice

Mostly gonna be lake/pond and maybe a few light rivers around my area

they are called padles for fucks sake.

oars are used to row (like a raft or rowboat)

paddles are used for kayaks. good luck not dieing.
