Okey so I play Badminton and I'm 16 years old and one of the best U17 ( Under 17 ) players in Sweden.

Problem is I get soo nervous before matches that I fuck up REALLY badly sometimes..

If that happens it doesn't go away after 5 minutes like people say it should..

I'm nervous WHOLE game and do stupid stuff like miss the whole shot , and keep failing easy serves..

How can I overcome this? This saturday I played a tournament and lost at once , I was simply too nervous to do anything..

What about the match do you get nervous about? Like do you have certain expectations from your parents/coach/whoever?

or maybe you're nervous about all the people watching your match?

idk I would just try to have fun and not worry about it and try your best obviously

My expections on myself are too high tbh.. And when I get on court I just concentrate on everything except the game
