yea its much softer.

Avg outside speed / rof of airsoft guns: 400fps/20+ROF outdoors, 350fps/25+ROF indoors

Paintball 250-300fps outdoors/15+rof

I wish I could play Airsoft, I got a pistol, lol, I also got a paintball gun, i like it better
