All i can say is that i am interested about getting into the sport myself, but unsure what style/type/model of bike i should be getting, i am a complete beginner and just need a little guidance to help point me in the right directions to make the correct purchases, i do currently have a mountain bike at the moment, its a muddyfox, has back and front suspension and well i spent around £300 on this, if anyone could post models of bikes or are willing to chill and have a conversation with me and give me some advice i would seriously appreciate this, thanks

if you want a decent downhill bike you need to spend like 8-10k $. Check out Kona Stinkys that is a really good bike and not to expensive. I dont know any better bike for that price. If you wanna ride dirt bikes build your own My choice would be Dr. Jekyll with marzoozi 66rc and Halo sas wheels.

used to, but i road bike now. to many injuries from it.

best downhill rigs = santa cruz and intense.

start out with a 6+inch front and rear travel single crown fork freeride bike. i really konas.
