You're online playing the game - the game finishes - you're at the computer and can pay instantly - Why shouldn't you be required to?

If someone is playing for all their FG and sent u/f and wins - Then they can't play poker for another full hour if someone pulls "the 1 hour rule" - pretty gay penalty.

I understand you may lose a connection, get disco'd, power goes out - but those should be a case-by-case basis - not covered by an all-inclusive one hour to pay rule.

Are there any good arguments for why it exists? Just curious.

It's bullshit, just made for kids who can't stand that they lost after a bad beat. (I feel so too, but I never used the rule yet)

I do understand that argument - but it's quite a poor one.

It's not like if you're at a casino playing for $100 and you lose - you can sit there and hold your $100 for another hour (would it really make you feel any better? ...)

The dealer just takes your chip instantly.

Any other good arguments?

And yeah Prone I saw your poll and voted to get rid of it - We should work on making that a reality.
