awesome, nice placeI am going atmy chalet for a few days, the lake is really not that good for fishing. Theres waleye/pike/ouananiche/perch.

BUT, in small quantities except for perch whio totally swarms the lake, which then feeds the walleye and pikes who wont bite ur lures.

Last year I cought a small perch while trolling and while i was reeling it in, a HUGE pike attacked it, fought with it for 5 mins and he broke my line at the boat was easily over 40 inches.

So there are surprises in there, but it requires patience.

However as long as i have beer, patience is not a problem.

nice, you should bring me too o.o

I'm sure I could catch some pikes and walleye

Maybe someday! the lake used to be very ood for walleye, but it got verybad over the years, people around the lake say u gotta fish 100 hours to catch 1 walleye on average. They are that rare, I manage to catch 1 from time to time.

Pikes are a bit more easy to catch, but their number isn't huge either. However there are monsters in there.

As for ouananiche, its good in early may when the water is cold, after that they are deep and u need a downrigger to reach them, and a sonar to follow the schools of ..whitefish? (éperlan)

so I just traded my yamaha 4hp for a honda 2.3 and some cash

I was freaking out because I saw oil/gas leaking

I threatened the guy to come RIGHT NOW and pick my motor back

he was really cool lol and he told me to relax and make it sit for a bit of time, gas probably came out when he didn't close the valve or something

I wasn't sure but he was really cool so I came back home(I was on my way to go at his house when he called me haha)

I made it sit and it was still leaking(not alot so it wasn't something huge)

I did some research and you can not move a honda outboard any way you want, it must be pick vertically and kept that way and if you tilt it, it's only on the opposite side of the handle/arm for the gas

so after all that, he called back and I learned him the good news

tl;dr do some research before getting something and making ppl freak out

I felt a bit bad for the guy haha
