I don't see what was funny about that. This is the kind of person that ruins good sport fishing spots for the rest of us.

Apparently you don't realize the significance of an adult breeding size muskie. They are very hard to catch and are often refferred to as the fish of a 1000 casts because that's how long it takes to catch one. They are one of the game species that has a more limited range than a lot of others. That one fish could be responsible for hundreds maybe even thousands of more fish in its lifetime. So at the end of the day it's more than one fish and that was just ignorant behavior. I'm glad he got busted

lol in my state our inland fisheries & wildlife encourage anglers to kill all pike and musky because not native to the state and they feed on & outcompete our native species
