How the hell is there a golfer on this list but no football players??

What a bad poll. I dont think you can just say who is THE best athlete ever. Also notice how almost all of those athletes are from the last 5 years, that doesnt make sense.

less than half of them are from the last 5 years...
and why does it not make sense for some of them to be from the last 45 years?

great athletes dont have to be present....

I can do plenty. I Golf, Play Tennis, Surf , Wakeboard, Ski, Snowboard, Fish, Play Ice Hockey ( Actually got offered a Scholarship for this), Play basketball on occaision. Doesnt mean im the best at every1, just means i can do them all, and im probably better then Average at every1 of them.

Plus i Joined the Marines when i was 17, i thought serving my country was better then accepting a scholarship to play ice hockey at Boston College. My Bad.
