I bought a hunting bow to practice shooting Arrow a few days ago
if I'm good enough at it, I'll buy a new bow and get the hunting liscence :)

3 weeks left before my first fishing trip

i caught a 32 inch snook yesterday but was by myself, couldnt get a good pic :(

on my brand new shimano symitrie too

you know what they say, no pics no fish :D

but seriously, I have a Symetre i absolutely love it cept mines going on 2 years and it needs a greasing, starting to get a little rough reeling in, Shimano reels are the only way to go! I've heard good things about Pflueger as well

Patriach is really good but you gotta pay the price

A symetre or sahara are probably the best inexpensive reels out there

You should oil+lub+clean that reel every year

This made me laugh out loud. Every year I start with my tackle box all sorted out and everything in its place and that lasts a couple weeks and then it's a total clusterfuck like pictured above(or much worse). Funny in the heat of the moment and they are biting and you have to change something I don't care where it lands if it gets my pole back in the water faster.

That white case you have in the pic, I put my premade hooks with string in them. It's a fucking terrible spot. They always fly out and don't fit. Its annoying af
Where/what do you guys put your hooks in? Because in need a better spot but I'm not sure on what to put them in.

I make them my self on the spot...problem solved..premade hooks are usually cheap
That is why i have a few spool of fluorocarbon...it end up being less of a mess and better quality

I usually have 2-3 poles with different lures for that reason, especially since I don't move away from the jig/senko/spinner too often. If I have to stop to change color, nothing was biting on what I had anyway.
