Here carp are garbage fish pretty much. I could get 200 lbs a day easily, especially when they are spawning, they come in so thick its ridiculous, you can practically walk across their backs, because nobody fishes for them. Usually catch them on accident trying to catch catfish in the river bottom fishing.I wonder what one like this would be worth?

Nice catch right off the dock! I'll check out your bait sticks. I make primitive lures on the fly when I teach wilderness survival courses. It's pretty cool to catch a fish on something you made, gives a different sense of pride.

Just went ice fishing in Colorado.

Was cold as fuck and didn't catch anything for 4 hours, then right before we were about to leave empty handed

We caught both a 15 and 16 inch trout within 3 minutes of each other and ate them for dinner
