Uh, American's don't like bball?

rofl what, remind me again who the best basketball players in the world are again?

That's right, USA > the world and it's not even remotely close.

Basketball falling off the map. Worst attendance of the big four, even worse than MLS despite low ticket prices. More and more athletes are choosing other sports and US dominance is ending. No parity in the league either.

Why are we comparing the NBA to sports like soccer anyways? Soccer is being played and watched in pretty much every country, the NBA is being watched by black guys in the U.S.

Honestly, my favorite sport is football by far. But I'd rather watch Hockey.

There are WAYYYYY too many commercials for spotlight football games.

So during the season I watch redzone, but playoffs it's commercial after commercial.

Okay i lol'd

Basketball doesn't have the worst attendance of the "big 4" where do you pull this shit out of your ass?

It's actually the "big 3" and then there's hockey. No offense. I respect Hockey players and it's a tough sport, but it's not in the same league as NFL/MLB/NBA...Hockey has watched it's attendance drop in recent years. It's struggling that's for sure.

Basketball is played all around the world. The NBA drafts a ton of players out of Europe and other places around the world now with basketball and the NBA in general becoming so international...

There are so many professional basketball leagues in other countries. All those players have the goal in mind of making it to the NBA.

So for every 350 soccer players in the world there is about 1 basketball player. Gotcha. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Here are some actual numbers for you regarding popularity:
Quote (Economist.com)
According to Deloitte, the English Premier League's revenue in the 2009-10 season was €2.3 billion ($3.1 billion), with football (soccer) in the whole of Europe generating a combined €16.3 billion. This compares with NFL's $9 billion, MLB's $7.2 billion and the NBA's $4.1 billion in 2011, according to Plunkett Research. Comparable revenue figures for the Indian Premier League, cricket's big money-spinning event, are hard to come by. But Brand Finance, a British consultancy, estimated the IPL's brand value to be $4.1 billion in 2010.

Soccer is a sport that nobody in the U.S.A. gives two shits about though, literally. Is it even considered a sport here? Who knows.

Basketball on the other hand is popular here, and also around the world.

So your argument is that we suck at the most popular sport and therefore we don't care about it. I guess that's one way to deal with it.
And stop kidding yourself. The rest of the world doesn't give a flying fuck about basketball. Yes, some people may play it, but so what? Iran has a hockey team. That doesn't mean that Iran is a hockey nation.
