I guess losing one is better than no action at all. I'm glad I'm back into construction again, got tackle and poles in the back of my truck, so I can hit little ponds and streams by some of the houses I'll be working on.

I was fishing under a bridge and I hook a truck, you know like the 40 ton truck?

I've never been this scared..I thought he was going away with my rod
I put the drag to the max and pulled, the hook bended and I just had to reel 240 feet of line :thumbsup:

E: I'm doing some solid knots, that's for sure

You probably fucked your line up, stretched it out. Glad you didn't lose your rod and reel, that would have sucked. Well for you, I'd love some guy to hook my truck and give me his set up...lol

I'm very happy and my line is ok..I think my fluorocarbon leader took most of the shock
I would have lost a rapala shift rod and a shimano citica reel
as well as 25$ Worth of line and a 15$ lure

nearly 400$

he thought it was funny to try to hook a fish until he realized he had to get the hook back.....without hooking the powerline

Going to a reservoir in the morning. Last time I was there, landed around 10 bass total, but I sank a kayak about a mile from the boathouse. Hoping for a better day this time.
