Well he was acting like there was even an argument as to comparing basketball in the USA to other places. Everyone knows USA dominates the game, not even worth arguing about.

Other sports like Soccer and Hockey sure, not nearly as popular in the U.S. as they are in other places around the world.

More than 50% of the world plays football
World Cup is the biggest event in the world by FAR, way more than Olympics, Superbowl, any other world wide events
Football generates the most revenue, ManU is easily the most expensive sports club in the world.

Not sure hockey even compares to this when the only people that care about hockey are Canadians and Russians

You really think any country even remotely compares to America in basketball? You throw the 12 best American basketball players on a team together and please find me another country that can beat it LOL. LeBron, Kobe, Dwight, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, etc. Not even close.
