Here in the U.S., mosquito is spelled with an "E" in its plural form, and I would mark it incorrect if I ever received a paper with such an error. This is because English nouns that end in "O" are pluralized with an "ES" (potatoes, tomatoes, volcanoes). There are exceptions with Latin-based nouns; however, here in the U.S., mosquito should end in "ES" when pluralized.

Forgive me, I should have realized English is your second language. If you spell it "mosquitos," then I can assume Spanish is your first language, in which case you are probably used to saying "los mosquitos." In the English-speaking world it is spelled mosquitoes. I am guilty of stereotyping when I assumed a Spanish-speaking person wouldn't be sporting a hockey signature.
