So you're suggesting to hunt and kill humans instead of animals. I see.

Quote (Maclin @ 6 Dec 2012 12:45)
Most of the "hunters" on here can't even kill a rabbit without needing a gun let alone kill a human who are you kidding.

...you *do* realize you didn't actually contradict his posit, right?

Quote (Maclin @ 6 Dec 2012 12:19)
So you resorted to slaughtering helpless animals in the forest with a gun instead of holding down your block in your neighborhood against real competition.

Amazing amount of red herring fallacies packed in to this.

Ad hominem (asserting that hunters only hunt, because they can't "hold down their block" or some such,) association fallacy (because hunters hunt animals, they MUST want to hunt people, too,) appeal to motive (hunters only hunt animals, because they can't hunt people.)

I could go on, but I don't really see a need to. It's not a logically defensible argument, man.

Step yo' game up, son.

This guy has been slammed by almost every user in this forum as well as others. He's obv just trolling yall with these "childlike" come backs. I do like , however, seeing the opinion of non educated people in threads like this. It gives me examples of what to tell my young nieces and nephews NOT to be like.

On a side note, I was born and raised in Texas where hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, and loving nature is a part of life. I feel hunting and fishing teaches "the old ways" that alot of us has forgot over the years. My Grampa took all his kids and grandkids hunting and fishing (even us girls) to show us the beauty and splendor God made for us on this earth. Most city kids never get a chance to experience this and we all know thats why there is so much crime and bafoonery that goes on there. I believe in God, I like people that say yes Ma'am and yes Sir. I think hunting and fishing is what Jesus likes, or else he wouldnt have chosen fishermen for his closest friends and followers (the 12 Disciples) Also I'd like to add... If you dont like our country and the traditions we hold sacred, you can always pack your shit, get on a plane, and move to Africa or China.
xoxo,
Sara {AKA HulaHoopChicka}

hunting for food is absolutely ok. hunting to prevent crop damage / to prevent threats for humans is also acceptable imo. hunting to control animal population has not a scientifically proven positive effect, there are studies that support it and some that don't. anyway, i personally don't have a problem with it.

what i don't understand are people who consider it a sport. hunting for fun / redneck nutcases who think shooting as many animals as possible is a good way to deal with their manhood issues... that is just ridiculous and wrong.
and in a country that's as obese as the usa, i don't think there is really a necessity to hunt for food. maybe some rare cases but for the most part those are just petty excuses.

Shame on anybody that hunts for food! I condone mass executions of animals to forever purge the poison known as red meat, however it should be a law to not burn the slayed animal, preventing it from edible consumption. All you carnivores can burn in Hell! Eat plants! They're far more healthy! Incoming wall of rage from Non-herbivores, Lmao

Personally, I don't like hunting. I've only ever dove and quail hunted before, but I'm a big fat pussy gay boy when it comes to killing little fluffy things lol. Now that being said, I'll eat the fuck out of something that someone else has killed/hunted and be ok with it. It's just the act of doing it myself that I just can't do.

But, I understand the need for population control, food, etc and I have no problem with people hunting, I just don't want to see it myself.
