He's got a point. Everyone (and by that I mean upwards of 90% of all riders) dope, but you single out one rider just because he beat everyone else? That's pretty pathetic. And unlike clear cut cases like Zabel, Ulrich etc. this one isn't all that clear.
Do I think he doped? Heck yes. Did he cheat? Cheating is giving yourself an unfair advantage. Every contender in his time doped so was that advantage unfair? Not so clear cut any more is it.
Doping or not, he's been the most successful rider of recent times, say what you will. Singling him out won't change that fact.
you just keep making the same pathetic excuses over and over again...
this is a threat about him because he FINALLY was banned for cheating. feel free to make a thread about any other cheater if you feel it's unfair to "single him out".
all the other cheaters are dirtbags, too. i never said anything else. the difference is that he keeps denying although it is obvious to anyone who isn't completely ignorant or just a deluded fanboy...
and he will never be a champ / icon / hero / rolemodel because he i a cheat. yes, the honest ones are few and mostly unknown. they are the bottle carriers, the ones that are told to close a gap or attack and when they have done their job finish 10+ minutes after the main guys. but they are the real heroes here.
i'd like to see the best of them compete against a clean armstrong / contador / ullrich / vinokourov - that would have been much closer than many of you seem to think.
don't get me wrong, i'm not saying armstrong was a bad cyclist or anything. i'm pretty sure he could have become one of the greatest in a clean sport but that is something we will never know because he chose to cheat...
and as a person he's incredibly arrogant and corrupt... i can't believe so many people are still making excuses for him...
