I'd say it's luck if they rolled dice at the beginning of the race. They didn't, they all had the same chances to crash, or not to crash. Yet the two Americans didn't crash, they held their ground and were opporunistic. Maybe the Koreans who were in 2nd and 3rd could've taken note on how to work as a team instead of trying to edge each other out in the last turn, and making a bad pass. Bad decisions lead to bad finishes, and that's what happened. It's not luck, it's part of the sport, and any racing sport as I said before.
Let's take another example. Lindsey Vonn probably could've won the Women's Super Combined, as she won the first portion, and was on pace until she crashed in the second part. But notice how I don't say that? She lost fair and square, because even though she WAS winning, she crashed, causing her to lose. The best advice I can give is to get over it and move on. Crashing, not finishing, getting DQ's are obviously a part of the sport. Otherwise we might as well just make the race a 1 turn race and whoever gets the best start should win, eh?
nobody pushed vonn out, the koreans atleast deserved all the medals, ohno lucked out
dont copy what other writers do, dont make you look any better
