i believe the odds should still be the same because at the time he went a/i  his cards were still unknown

they appear to you as being the same b/c you cannot calculate them due to a lack of knowledge, however, it is still there, just unknown to you

oic instead of stating why its false let's just bash the person trying to make them appear incorrect.
Your statement is false because your father smells of elderberries.

however it has nothing to do with air, your arguement is that air doesnt exist until you see it, then once you do see it. it changes how the air actually works.

not quite...you are saying you dont know what is in it until you see the data. then once you see that data, it changes instantly.

the odds dont change because he could have any card not just the card you need he also eliminates chances for the other guy but you dont know this while playing out the hand so you treat it like it does nothing

you are making an assumption, which you cant when it comes down to the exact numbers

there is always a % chance of winning based on the hands dealt, although not always seen by the players, it is there and they cannot calculate the exact % without seeing the hands, it still exists within the cards dealt/ # of cards in a deck and so on

i see what you are saying, but when you got him a/i the odds would be the same for him because he doesnt know what is in the third parties hand. he has to treat the deck as though it is still 1v1 because anything could be there whether they are or not.
