Interesting ^.^ I'll have to try that. Any tips for fishing for Bass?

(I'm 15 still new to most of it)

That big bass was caught on a crawler harness just drifting behind my canoe. I have caught most of my biggest bass on a crawler harness or a purple rubber weedless worm. I also like a floating rapala black and silver when the lake has not much vegetation. I like to cast a rapala towards shore, let it sit until the rings where it landed are gone. Then give it a small jerk and let it resurface until rings disappear and repeat. Works for me.

I would if there was salt water close enough to me.The Great Lakes are so much fun, I doubt I'll ever go salt water unless its when I get older and retire somewhere warm.

That flathead posted a couple pages back was very nice :)

I'll reel in anything thats biting, but crappie and catfish are my favorites, particularly catfish. In Indiana, you can catch damned near anything freshwater, I think the only thing I haven't caught that resides in the state is lake trout and pike.

Pike are fun to spear through the ice, great time chilling in a shanty with a few people and spearing a big pike that swims up to eat your minnow swimming around in your hole.
