same for me
i don't enjoy fishing around big city as much as going deep in the wood, being on my own and fishing on a lake alone with nobody around except your friends..i just love it

catching fish is a bonus

NJ. If you have a boat, there's plenty of good spots. If not, you really need to know your shit or (which is much harder) get lucky and find a hotspot.

Salmon are starting to get fewer and fewer, but the steelhead are starting to run now, so more awesome river fishing in the near future.

i went out on lake winnibigoshish the last 2 days, and i can't catch crap, I'm thinking that lake turnover has happened. I did shoot 7 ruffed grouse over the weekend though
