This is one of the best times of the year in Michigan to be an outdoors man. Salmon are running, deer season opens in a few weeks for bow. Fall harvest will soon be ready, I'm loving it.

I love when the seasons start to change and animals can sense it. They all want to get ready for winter. Fish seem to bite more because they know its going to be slim pickings once the lakes freeze over. Deer are getting fat for the winter, bears are eating like crazy on the salmon spawning.

Yep. Last weekend it got real cool (dropped from mid-80s to low 60s for Saturday/Sunday) so it put the bass in Fall-Feast mode. Sunday I came up on 4 of them hunting in a pack and landed all of them on consecutive casts. Was a great start to the day.

Thats awesome. It's cooling off here bigtime, this morning low is 64, tomorrow they are predicting 39 for a low, better cover up my outdoor crop I guess.
