You're under valuing how much they open the court for other guys. You literally can't leave steph or klay on help defense. Even on nights where they're off they still demand so much attention because all it takes is one time seeing the ball go in and they can be hot.
As I said before, this is the best backcourt ever. If you don't think that helps Draymond 'create' you're crazy.
draymond makes good decisions. I'm not going to argue that. I'm not saying you put him on another team and all of a sudden he's terrible. He's just not going to be a guy you can rely on on offense. If you put him on a non playoff team like the Kings or lakers. I won't use the sixers because lol. On the Kings or lakers no I don't think he would sniff those assist numbers. My guess is he is a 10-15 point/10 rebound/3 assists player on around 44% shooting. While playing good defense. without being on the Warriors I don't think he gets some of the calls he gets. Which unfortunately dictates a lot in today's NBA. Then having players like rondo or deangelo Russell you're not getting the ball with open lanes as mentioned before but also draymond gets the ball a lot where the defender was in help defense so they have a long distance to cover in a close out. Anyone who plays basketball can tell you that beating someone off the dribble is exponentially easier when they are closing out vs if they are already on you set in position. I don't think he would thrive in a situation where he is the number one or 2 creator on the team.
Edit: about hood... I keep hearing good things but haven't seen much of him this year. Seems like he has all the tools but I'm just wondering how a team with favors, gobert, Hayward and him can't win a ton of games. They all seem extremely talented. Just wondering. Jazz isn't a team that I really get to see much
injury issues, but jazz should be a solid team to keep an eye out for next year. IMO Hood > Hayward or just as important the way that Jazz team works
