Currently riding a 159 cm Lamar board from a few years ago. Standard boots and bindings, nothing fancy.

I've been meaning to get a new board and attire for a while now, but just haven't seen any good deals enough for me (I'm pretty cheap :P).

I live in Chicago, so there's not many easily accessible places for me to just go, everything is 4+ hours away.

viking and shred shop..plus just checking out REI wouldn't be a bad idea if you want to see things in person

Alright, thanks, dude. I'll certainly check it out. I just hate spending a lot of money since I don't have easy access to spots.

No offense.

I snowboard with a lot of my friends, and anyone who is chubby can barely carve, or do anything consistantly lol.

They can barely keep up with you. When you have to ride a long stretch. They will lose speed, and get stuck. lol

I'm way fit right now, but i just turned 21. Even my knees are starting to feel weaker then highschool days.

I'mnot sure how anyone obese can enjoy snowboarding =[

They would just have long long tired day.

Lol my best bud broke his writst last weekend. It was a 20-30 foot jump but the actual jump was made for a 50 foot gap or more. It was way to big
For only 20-30 feet. And added to that the jump was fucked because they added a rly badly made lip to it becsuse it got destroyey by ski school kids riding over it. Fuckin skiers...

I hit it perfect plenty of times doing spins, grabs. On time i went a bit faster off it and I gaped the landing and went about50-60 feet rollin up the windows fucked my tailbone and sprained my wrist.

Next day i bored half crippled. My bud says Lets do a jump run. I was going to tell him no lets do a jib run this run. Cuz i still was in pain and hating jumps from other day. But instead i said nevermind ok. The same jump, he broke his wrist and fractured his whole forearm
hes out for season.... Woops

No it wasnt icy at all. Its just stupid. They bring the little kids ski school in the park, and they just ride over some of the jumps. Absolutely kills the lip

So they try and add another section to the top of the jump to fix it

But the section they added is clearly at a differnt angle and steeper than the start of the jump

Its like a normal curve at first, than a way steeper top of the jump like they ploped on too snow much when fixing
