Doing everything to feel comfortable won't get you anywhere. If you're any good at snowboarding you'll have adapted to the wider stance within a couple runs and you'll wonder how you ever got on without it.

Sorry bro, your wrong. You go for what is comfortable. Yes with a wider stance it is easier to move your weight around.... Still, it is not any better or worse for you. Just stop.

Ride the way is most comfortable to you. Eventually, if you hit the park enough you will probably widen your own stance for this reason. But still... Ride at was is comfortable

Wow this is just sad. Nothing in any sport done right is going to be the most comfortable option. If you're most comfortable riding with you're feet right beside each other pointed together its not going to help you. In this circumstance, you will perform better with a wider stance. Its not even an argument. If you have any confidence in your riding ability (which people here apparently don't) you will have adjusted, and noticed a major difference within a couple runs.

the problem with your theory is his stance isnt narrow.... at all

no one is denying a narrow stance isnt helpful, but his stance is just fine

Its not terrible, but it could be much better. There's more room for his feet to spread, and theres too much space at the ends of the board.

trusnow.com

edit:

altho i must say cheap and snowboarding dont mix well :P

I mean, I have a full set of things. I'm not in desperate need of anything else. It's all just optional, so I don't want to spend too much.

Ya know?
