Didn't say it wasn't. I'm aware of it, 2 of my friends own Etek5 xD

Truthfully, most electronic markets will do just fine. It's only if you're extremely competitive where fine tuning markers for reduce kick/sound is where it's necessary for specific high end markers.

Probably the most important thing you can look for is comfortable ergonomics for your body and then balance the fine tuning from there.

Eteks work fine but for their value you can get a used ego
Which is a better and highly tuned etek
What I learned in paintball is you can get A LOT more value buying uses
Ego7 are extremely light, shoot better, and kick less than the etek
You can get a nice annodized for $100-200 and it'll last forever
Even though they are from 2007, they still look better and are the better choice

Yes there are Canadians on the forum

That's high dollar man
Luxe's are real smooth and extremely quiet but requires the most care and maintenance
I've seen more of them break down during and before matches than any other marker
Knowing that I still wanted one cause so smooth

Also if it does crap out or you don't like it, Luxe's hold their value real well so you can always trade back or sell back without a big hit

Yeah, the luxe is arguably the smoothest shot out there.
The markers in that thread are priced well.

I really want a geo 3.5 but can't justify buying one right now, maybe next year.

I own 2 Milsig and a lot of people say they are not reliable, but I never had problems with them. I guess I'm made for these types of markers :P

to put in perspective even though I personally clean/lube my marker after every session

should lube/clean
luxe - after every session
dm/dye - after every 2-3 sessions
PE Geo - after every 3-4 sessions
PE Ego - I clean/lube these like every 10 sessions lol still works like champs

PE markers are known for their use and abuse while still retaining reliability and smoothness
