check the torture tests on youtube of hipoint LOL the only way they could get one to "blow up" was by filling the Barrel with some powder and literally blowing the shit up.

Don't get me wrong they are ugly as shit there is no doubt about that, They are built like a fucking tank. The sights on them are second to none for factory sights, I'm talking accuracy not how they look... You can have some awesome looking sights but if they are not accurate they are not worth a shit.
You show me some videos of these 2 guns and some torture tests then i may believe you a bit more.

Lol the gun store my family owns won't buy or sell hipoints, its simply a terrible gun that will not work properly.

Cheapest gun that I would trust my life with would be a Taurus or a simple ruger.

i completely agree. there are a lot of hipoints that are pretty much a hit or miss right out of the factory.. they do some stupid shit which nobody understands.
But most the issues with them are very easy fixes and for the overall price of the gun the few mods are not bad. i have had 4 hipoints out of them 1 has worked flawless strait from factory the rest i have modified such as polish the feed ramps because for some reason hi point decides to pain them... and also adjust the magazine feed lips. 90% of the problems are found within the magazines not the firearm.

I cannot honestly say i wouldn't trust my life with a random hi point i have never inspected because i wouldn't lol but i would trust my life with my hp 40 s&w it has shot flawless since i modified the feed ramp and the mag lips. ( i have had the gun for about a year and go to the range every other week shooting at least)

And honestly if i owned a gun shop i would not carry hi points either.. from a business aspect they are just to cheap to make good profit off of and just to much pain in the ass to buy/sell etc.

I have mixed feelings with Taurus i have loved some of there guns and absolutely had the worst time with others.

Taurus has some cheap OK guns, but overall they go back to the Taurus for repairs much more often then a Smith or anything of higher quality.

Ruger though makes a strong reliable firearm, really I have no complaints with them and they are less expensive then most. I like the look of them more than glocks and they are often $200 less.

That is no doubt, I have a buddy who is a police officer and he tells me the amount of HP's in evidence room is ridiculous lol.
Yea Ruger makes a hell of a product, i love my rugers and have never had any issues with any of them.

Just because i like my HiPoint means nothing its MINE and has been MODIFIED.
Dont act like im sitting here saying HP's are the best gun ever made.
So yes i would rely on mine... MINE not a factory not one from joe smoe... MINE
If by any chance i was in a rush to grab one of my guns i can say i wouldnt reach for my HP first.
