Learning to ski is easier than learning to snowboard, but imo mastering skiing is harder than mastering snowboarding trick-wise. And in the end it's a matter of opinion, I find both cool in a different way.

Oh and I dno about injuries, imo they can both be equally dangerous, it completely depends on the situation so you can't generalise

No. And it's not a matter of opinion....
You can land a trick being crooked as shit on skis and it's ok because you can actually land something on one ski... Whereas in snowboarding you have to be perfectly aligned otherwise you're fucked.

Ehh.. yeah when you're out of balance when you try to land a trick on ski's you won't fall because balance only matters in snowboarding. This guy has it all right.

Snowboaring, Its just so fun being able to go down a hill and jib stuff. Butters, flexin, jumpin, spinnin mannies, box spins, and it adds another element that makes it fun.
It doesnt feel like ur just standing on ur feet, it feels like ur gliding on a board that uve become one with

Ur not just facing forward and moving, ur heel to toeing it, Carving sideways, i dunno how to explain it, the feeling is much less comfortable for the first year or two depending on ur skill and age, but once u gain the ability
to fool around and trick, it is uncomparable to skiiing.

And regards to tricking, ive done both. Landing a 360, a rodeo, 720 or even off a box is MUCH easier on skis. U can stabilize ur body putting more weight on one foot, snowboarding, landing is a bitch! u dont land perfectly flat, or spot and glide into landing off a spin, u will either 1- die or 2- spin the fuck out on ur landing

Ive seen the video too. Its a good film, but to be honest i got a bit bored for the last 20 minutes or more. The first 30 minutes was rly good, than they needed to switch it up a bit more. Maybe some street boarding, or upbeat music. But yes i did have an eyegasm watching it in HD on my mac
And 2 things

1. The digging had nothing to do with that avalanche, he didnt get burried

2. There was never a guy grinding the lift in the movie

Then what are you trying to say though?

The basics of skiing may be easier, but to be a good skiier is harder than to be a good snowboarder.  Once you get the basics of snowboarding, all you do is do it faster and on steeper slopes, but if you can get down a slope on ski's you haven't even started yet.

spoken like somebody who knows absolutely nothing about snowboarding

Everything in skiing is easier, its just facts bro, I skied and competed in freestyle til i was 10 (could do 360, daffy, twister, all the ez tricks) and then picked up snowboarding. Never looked back. Ended up competing and making it to junior nationals ages 13-17 for halfpipe.

There is so much more than "the basics of snowboarding"... have you ever seen snowboard racers? you'll understand that theres a ton more to it than recklessly throwing yourself around like a ski racer. I think once you get the basics of skiing then there isnt much else for racing, atleast until your at d1 college teams... srsly bro, point skis down mountain.. keep knees bent... have some small ammount of balance... go 1000mph without ever falling

Freestyle skiing is easier because you can go faster on skiis, you can flat land from higher on skiis, and air awareness is easier because your not landing/popping sideways. Mastering freestyle snowboarding is not easier than mastering freestyle skiing, just more people choose to do it.

trust me bro, ive been all around the best skiers and snowboarders and i can faithfully say that skiing is waaay easier
