i just checked out the reviews and it's useless..
u still gotta use a leader and apparently the line is hard to cast
it's not as invisible as advertised

I've used fire line crystal in the past with no leader. Casts easy. It tends to fray if you don't cut the tag end well and tie a good knot. Needs to be replaced every few months. But as far as something invisible in water goes, that's about the closest / best I've gotten.

flurocarbon is invisible in water but i find it hard to cast and it has too much memory and it's not that strong so i just use a 10-20 pound 2-3 feet leader of fluro with normal braid line

I'm not a fan of fluro or using a leader which is why I tried the fused. The difference between fused and braid is that braid is threaded together like a rope whereas with fused the strands are glued together and then a finishing product is applied to add extra strength. It's also much less visible than braid in the water.

flurocarbon is really useful for fishing trout and small bass..it makes a total difference
u could catch one fish for 1 hour of fishiing with no leader
and u'd catch 10+ with a flurocarbon leader
i don't use leader for pike/muskies but it is really helpful for smaller fish
here in quebec...catching a trout half a pound is pretty good
catching a 5 pounds trout is REALLY GOOD

things i gotta buy before my next fishing trip, 9th-11th may 2014
a 8 or 9 wt fly rod (less then 300$)
a backup rod for my baitcast (50-80$ ...when ever canadiantire has them on sale)
a backup rod for my spinning rods (50-80$ ...when ever canadiantire has them on sale)
a muskie rod ( no idea...probably 100-250$ )
a second tackle box(100$)
more lures(probably a grand)
maybe a fishing kayak(500-700 $)

i have about 2k to spend on fishing...maybe more if i buy a kayak
i'd also need waders but it is so expensive :(

At that lake, I've never seen anything other than largemouth / pickerel / baitfish. So it's either a huge bass or the Lochness Monster. I'm down for either. Just wish I could get a boat in there.

Why would you keep throwing the same thing if it wasn't working?
