So, i was reading through these hunting threads earlier today, and i was wondering
are people on JSP super ignorant as to the point of hunting (both some of the hunters, and the anti hunters), or is hunting completly different in colorado
In colorado
- We hunt for food
- Population control
- Wildlife Management (same as above)
If we weren't shooting that deer, and killing it, Nature would.
There is only enough "supplies" around to support *1000* deer, yet there are *1330* deer. That means we sell 330 tags.
So to say that hunters are cruel, animal abusers, is that really fair?
-Now a counter arguement is gonna be, thats nature, let it play out.
Right now, your sitting on your computer reading this. that requires electricity, a house (or some sort of building), a computer, and many other things.
To create these things, you had to take away from the habitat these animals thrive in. Thus, giving us over-population of animals.
So, are you a hypocrite, or just uneducated then?
I just want to hear your opinions on why hunting is bad/good, and why. Keep spam to a minimum here please.honestly all around the world animals are going extict and who are you to judge there isnt enough space for em. who the hell can possibly say there arent enough leaves or grass for a dear to eat?!? populations control my ass, just an excuse. i understand the part about for food , in hunting you shouldnt think about population control. hunt when there is a need for it, if there is hunger, or for future hunger. not for amusement or "sport"
im not saying hunting is wrong, but the sexcuses people give themselves to hunt are full retard. i understand some people reasons but other people just do it for amusement. if you kill an animal even if it was for food you should have enough respect to atleast be thankful for it and eat it.4
and the part your saying about us sitting at a computer electricity bla bla, thats all circumstances and is not really connected to the point right now, people should learn to coexist more. people should live more outdoorsy lives, but of course still have electricity, ofc i prefer alternate energy sources but were not evolved enough currently for everyone to be able to afford them. only problem is people are getting to used to common luxuries that they can do without or could do differently in a more energy conservative manor they prefer not to because they are not accustomed to doing things where they actually have to burn calories or burn energy. i would personally love to live somewhere in a forest or somewhere in nature. i love working for what i have and i believe in equal exchange. you get back what you put in.
