At first I thought that with football the OP meant FOOTball, not handegg, so I nulld. I respect both sports, although I admit that I watch hockey a bit more.

But the american handegg is one of the worst sports I know, no wonder its popular only in one country.

Both are great sports but I grew up with hockey so I picked hockey. I'm sure if I was American my answer might be different. It's what you're raised on. No need to belittle either sport.
