Honestly, if China doesnt take the most medals they are a failure of a nation. They have 4-5 times the population of the USA, which is a huge advantage haha

usa has superior genes tho, so it all evens out

china has quantity
usa has quality

any problems ?

b2t : i think did not she doped , if she does she should be outragious at all the time and not only in the last 50 metre's which seems to be her strength

she was even behind after the first 350 metres ( where you had to follow swimmingstyles ) but when the freestyle part began she was clearly better then the others and that makes the time

of course there could be drugs , but i think it's the same and already known scenario that they took a kid and let it train 12-16 hours a day and this time she just specialized on the freestyle part i guess

probably one of those cultural differences, but to me, that way of life is pretty sad.

Completely fucked up way of life.

"In China, athletes are often taken away from their families at a young age and placed in specialist training schools where they practice for hours every day. Wu began training daily at a diving camp at the age of 6. By the time she was 16, she had left home to be installed in a government aquatic sports institute"

"We accepted a long time ago that she doesn't belong entirely to us," Wu Yuming told the Shanghai Morning Post. "I don't even dare to think about things like enjoying family happiness."

"Messages of congratulations from the government to athletes through the state news agency have been sent only to gold medalists, not those winning silver or bronze."

You CANNOT compare American sports programs to China's sports program. There is NO comparison when this type of bullshit happens. We are human beings. We shouldn't be forced to do anything.
