I think soccer... or football players are better athletes than rugby players. They have to run around a ton and the amount of skill involved in dribbling, tackling, crossing, shooting and all that jazz is extremely high. Seems like a lot more is involved in this than in rugby where the just run around toss the ball to each other and kick it occasionally.

i guarantee you every nfl runningback would shit his pants if he had to play without his helmet and plastic armor.

american football looks like a game invented by an overweight imbecile.

since he had very low stamina (and also a very short attention span) he made it break every few seconds - that was also great because it allowed him to eat some burgers while watching the cheerleaders.
since he wasn't very creative he wrote all the possible plays down in a playbook - the breaks allowed him to select new plays while chewing his burgers.

some clever marketing experts discovered this would be the ideal game for america since most people there have a very short attention span and big appetite, too.
also they discovered that they could put in the most commercials per minutes played in any game - perfect!

and that's how football quickly became the most popular "sport" in america...

Hockey definitely requires more skill than soccer, football or freaking tennis.

Ergo I gotta go with Crosby.

Rugby players don't need pads cuz they don't hit as hard as football players.

Sports Science tested it and football players hit A LOT harder.

because you clearly know what the world thinks...

anyway, americans are by far the most obese and from my experiences also the most ignorant people... and yes, there are exceptions to any rule...

nah, some of them might hit slightly harder BECAUSE they have a helmet and pads. it's the gay, slow, boring and uncreative version of rugby nevertheless...

Uh sports science showed that it was like 3x harder which is a lot more than slightly.

And I even think they used a cornerback for the tests which is the smallest football player.

Youtube it if you don't believe me.

YEAHHH!! WOO GO AMERICA!!!

( -_- )

Are you seriously trying to deny here that the average American is overweight and poorly educated? There's no opinion here, its probably even on wiki.

Oh I totally hope you're referring to the tackle impact measuring on the test doll. I had a good laugh there.
