But i perfectly understand why they gave it to Korea: Asia is a huge market and they will profit enourmously from these games.
I just think it's not the way to go for the IOC, especially when you have the Olympic Idea in mind.

The football world cup in Qatar.. now that is a joke, but this is totally understandable since Korea is a strong competitor and has the money/population to make it a succesful event.
What is it with Americans and their knowledge of other countries? Is it like genetical? I think they should be banned from any discussion in which other countries are involved or something since they'll most likely confirm again what people already thought.. they're clueless.
