i think im going to go with the A5/platium package....hold off on the barrel for a while and then get a flatline

Yea, i love my flatline, make sure you get the decent paint, cause shitty walmart paint doesnt really work well on flatlines, the seams off the shitty paint catch too much upspin and fly upward in a crescent shape.

the a5 may shoot more bps, but i can get a 98 custom with RT for the same price...

im lost and need to make a decision!

Buy the A-5, its a better investment over time.

First of all, don't order a marker on the internet.

Go to your local store and shoot the A5, shoot the 98 custom. Don't let others decide for you what gun to choose.

I would trust a tech at a local store 1000 fold over any forum geek.
