And yeah look at the size of Nunavut on a map and then remember there's only 38k total people in it of which 9k or so are in Iqaluit. No roads connecting anything and most towns are sub 1200 people fly in only.

Only downside is that stuff is expensive. Like olive oil is 50 bucks or a single 500ml of Gatorade is 7 bucks. Stuff the gov't won't subsidize.

I wasen't born here, I moved. My prime gaming years would have been in southern Canada and if you recall back in the d2 and Wc3 days most of us were probably on dial up.

That's essentially their internet here now. Its crazy how you can get used to a 2 second delay on everything. I personally cant do it again so I play mostly turn based and I had to try d2R but play mostly P1 with a 700 ping.

There's a ton of of inuks playing Cod and Dota though with huge delays but they have just become accustom to it. Ill nev er go back to that, I just wont play or stick to turn based and single player games.

Heres some pics from last weekend. Its been so warm here I am still out on the Quads since there's just not really enough snow to cover the rocks to get the skidoo out. Normally we would be ski-dooing by now and the lakes would have good ice but I measured and its only 6 inches thick when normally it should be several feet. The ocean should we well frozen over weeks ago and it still has open parts to it.
