depends what im building next
either going .308 ar10, rem700, or 300aac ar10

The only difference between the AR you have now and a 300aac is the barrel if im not mistaken. Should use the same bolt, mags, and everything.

A .308 would be pretty cool, just pricey.

Ive been trying to check the headspacing on my AR but I cant get out the roll pin that holds the ejector. As soon as I manage that its time to find a range day. And the holographic im gonna be using is a knock off eotech. Its just temporary and I probably will only be shooting indoor for a little while so it should work fine.

yea but i would rather build a whole other ar than just change out the upper
im leaning towards the .50 beowulf but cant find a range that allows it

If I was gonna go with a .50 it would be just the upper to swap on when i felt like shooting it. I could see a full 300 black out build being no issue though.

only problem is finding ammo for it =[

personally, once you've got a couple of complete AR's, I wouldn't bother with buying any more lowers, just working on stuff that requires an upper swap. Less serial #'s with your name on em

grabbed a philipino 1911 commander clone friday and ran 150 rounds through it today. wonderful shooter, just need to get some adjustable sights to get the groups from the 7 o'clock to the bull. wife needs to get some more time behind it too (its actually what she'll be carrying) but gonna have to work up some lighter loads first. that short barrel is rough on the hand especially for someone her size, lol
