Don't you have a lot of tighter spots? Like I could get a decked out 16' bass boat, but a kayak would be way more practical for the ponds/lakes I go to.
Go buy a $20 one and beat it up in the backyard until you're decent with a casting setup. They can be a huge pain in the ass at first, no need to constantly spool on a nicer one.
ugh..no idea how the 20$ reel look in the us but when I look at the 20$ reel in canada...I see how some people doesn't like fishing, they are cheap as fuck
I started right away with a 150-200$ baitcast reel
the first few weeks were a huge pain in the ass..lol
I made some dummy mistakes
now..everything is ok

I'm trying to figure out which is better lol.
Been looking into the REVO STX and another REVO.
the most expensive reels are usually the better...that's how it goes
you gotta figure out what you want
perfomance vs weight vs price
and then buy what ever is the best
I would highly suggest a shimano citica to begin with
not too expensive and it is an amazing reel
do some research..it's the best thing you can do
