I need to buy some different colored worms for my weedless Texas rigs. I've been playing around with a top water frog. Had a bass hit it yesterday but I wasn't paying attention, I was watching my son play and spazed out and just ripped the frog out before it had a chance to swallow the frog up :fume: so mad at myself for that, but I'll get one here soon.

Really need to practice with the baitcasters. I don't have a bait so I'm stuck up on the shore trucking through weeds and trees trying to get to spots where everyone hasn't fished.

Gotta be super attentive with frogs. As likely to get a tail smack as a bite on the initial hit.

Bout to head out to the same pond to give it another go. Hopefully this time I'll have better luck.

FInally getting a line out starting tomorrow, 4 days at the cottage. the weather forecast is horrendous, cold, wind and rain. Might have to forfeit some hours of fishing and get drunk inside the cottage instead.

I'm done buying lures for this next trip
I bought 2 more jigging spoons which are much heavier then what I bought yesterday, nearly 2 oz instead of 7/8 oz and 1oz
and 2x 1 oz bucktail jig...I have no idea why but it seem impossible to find heavy bucktail jig in quebec, I have been to like 5 different stores and none of them had anything over 3/8 oz
I finally found white bucktail at ''sail'' but that's it

Well, after spending weeks around the local Lake I finally hooked my very first bass (besides a baby which I won't count <_<) found some forum to talk about fishing on and got a few pointers on what to fish and how to fish them. But a pretty respectable fish if I do say myself. Now I just gotta get better at feeling when they bite and setting the hook.
