went fishing for the first time today, came up completely empty, saw a bunch of fish but none were taking my bait

I bought part of the alcohol today



so far I also bought:
new bear spray
more lures
paracord
knife
new line for my fenwick
a powerful flashlight

new addition to my outdoor stuff:

truflare bear bangers + flares

too bad I can not try it before the trip, it sound pretty bad ass
as per review, it is louder then an actual 12 gauge

3 weeks left before my fishing trip
And i am seriously considering buying my own cottage
I am going to talk with my bank tomorrow
we will see if i can have it

my tackle box for trout is done
I bought a few new lures for this year

And...i have a fishing tournament on june 5th

For trout I use to use; bobber, spinner, and worm. Worked great for me

Anything that include a worm is good for trout
I have alot of spoons i use with a worm but i only catch the smallie that way

I switch to a minnow or smaller spoon like a mooselook wobbler or a small williams wobbler or even a mepps spinner to catch the big one
