Coho is open in my region, but I'm on a remote island w/ no rivers on it so unlikely I'll get any shorecasting

We have Coho, Chinook, and Kings here, all considered salmon and limit is 3 per day in most rivers and lake michigan. We have them come up the rivers in the fall to spawn on gravel beds, thats when we fish them here inland.

Went out in the rain today and had no luck. At least it was about 60 degrees so it wasnt unbearable, but a bite would have been nice. The salmon are starting to end the spawning and starting to die off, could be the reason I had not a nibble.

Been wanting to go fishing. The rain over the last 5 days from the hurricane that hit Mexico fucked everything up. Salinity in the Bay is super low from all the rain water so can't fish specs and the fresh water is so muddy from the rain nothing is biting.

Here is a pic of the charter boats I sometimes work on. Fishing is a big part of the culture where I'm from

Something smells fishy, that's for sure. I haven't gotten out lately, has been rainy and windy here, and now that its nice I have to work since I own a siding company. Going to go up to my property in the upper peninsula this weekend and try to finish siding my cabin up there. It snowed last time I went up there, so I couldn't get on the roof, and I had to get my Harley in the basement up there since i hadn't put it up for the winter yet or winterized anything for that matter up there, and this storm was a complete surprise. My buddy from Ohio had never been up here, so we had a great time checking out the scenery. I just drywalled the living room and kitchen this summer and I didn't want the roof to leak at those dormers.

Here's a few pictures I took while I was up there after the snow. There is no bad view at my cabin really.
