Rain day for me, so no work! I have been spending the day on and off going through my prep list and getting all my gear for camping/salmon weekend around and inspected. It's a good thing too, my son used my inflatable air mattress this summer and it was leaking. I slept on the ground last 3 weeks ago when I went camping/scouting because my son had it. Glad I pumped it up and noticed it was leaking. He also wrecked my inflatable 3 man boat the first time he used it this summer. 20 year old kid is hard on my stuff, but at least he brought it back...lol.

I am buying my nucanoe frontier 10-12 feet when the season open

I caught a red fish and a speckled trout in a net last night. We was throwing for shrimp, but a light from the pier was shining in the water and I think it attracted them there.

Salmon are finally in here! I got a couple this morning but forgot to take pictures until we were cleaning them. Steelhead will be in soon too! Great time for fishing for the big ones in Michigan.
