okay theres 25 people in jail. The guard says okay I will give you guys you freedom if you can pull this off.

The guard explains to the inmates. I will give you 10 minutes (irrelevant to the riddle) to discuss a plan before we do this.

After your time I will put each off you back in your cells and I will RANDOMLY pick one of you and bring you in a room with a light switch. This room is your way of communicating with each other You will have to option to flick the switch on or off (It starts off) ( and you can only flick the light switch on or off, no writing on the walls half way switching only Off or on). As I randomly pick you (people can get picked twice 3 times 4 times its unlimited) the deal is that the last person picked of the 25 must tell the guard he was the last person of the 25 to get picked and go in the room. In other words the person who thinks (or knows cause of the plan when they had time to talk) he is the last of the 25 to be in that room (meaning every1 else has been in the room before him and he is the last one who has not gone in.) by only communicating with the other inmates using the light switch. If they can pull that off he will set them all free.

EXM: Gaurd picks prisoner 14 He flicks the swithc on. Gaurd picks pris 12 he keeps the light on.

There is a certain formula or sequence or rhythm that works were they can find out when the last person of the 25 has gone in the room in which they must figure out in there time before he puts the prisoners in there cells. Once they are in the cells there is no communication WHAT so ever except through the light switch they can flick On or Off

Its a brain teaser its very hard ill let this go for awhile, i gotta find the answer i forgot its very hard.

and theres only 25 which then makes it odd

the gaurd can pick the same person 25 times in a row it doesnt matter.

There is a way.

it doesnt go, exm: he picks 25 people the its over.

people can go in the room over 600 times.

it actually doesnt matter, you can say 60 people or 1000 people

the formula works for any number over 20 I think.

in other words the number of people doesnt matter 20+

and what do you mean the light switches every 2 people? They dont have to flick the switch at all.
