yeah its not easy... was a learning experience, pretty much everything went wrong lol name the thing, it happened. rain, lines tangles, lines snagged, rain again, lack of equipment, inadequate spots, was a disaster.

Kings and Coho salmon are starting to run here. Running 30 lb test spiderwire and a 5/8" treble hook with spawn sacks. My personal best was a 50" Coho two years ago and I'm hoping to top it this season. Bought some new 1000 gram thinsulate neoprene waders, finally something to keep me warm in that cold ass river water. My buddy Dick got on a couple nice fish yesterday, I lost a giant one and only hooked up that one time all day. The numbers aren't what they are when the run really gets going, but the fish are fresh coming in daily and are healthy looking.
