Yeah... It shot fine at my first test shooting and I was really impressed by how fucking smooth it was. Then the nightmare started and the paintballs kept dropping 10 feet in front of me, double/triple feeding, bolt stick, etc.

Edit : On a positive note, I just ordered a Marksman Hybrid Stalker for my Milsig M17 Elite. Will snipe the shit out of people

Paintball markers are made to play with, not to expose them, even if it's a Ripper

I just shoot the luxe normally i can never bring my self to actually shoot the ripper.

I don't really consider the gear expensive, but paint and admission costs, that's expensive.

Depends how many things you're buying and the quality of it, I spent at very least 4k$ this summer for gear and probably 1k$ for entry and paint

The thing is, gear doesn't have to be purchased every year. Realistically, as long as you're happy with your purchase (and it doesn't break), there's no need to buy new equipment. That said, I suppose that also depends on how much paint you shoot and how much abuse the gear takes.

Paintball is also kind of like cars. Many players "lease" their guns, and sell with use/before the current value dips to low, then purchase a new marker.

My mini gs is stilly very new, though now I'm extremely interested in the dye m2, maybe next year. I, by no means, need to purchase it, but it's a slight obsession.
