It's almost winter so i'll be doing a few camping trips when we get some snow storms this year.
The whole experience sucks but for some reason...i love it.
Just smoking a joint out in the middle of no where warming up in front of a fire.....gosh.
Food tastes 5x better. I mean sleeping sucks but some of these podcasts are LEGIT.
I pack out steaks, bacon, veggies, and rice and they are fine for days.
Throughout all my experience in the past and training in deserts.....i find the snow a luxury.
The fact that i can just fucking grab some snow and make myself some coffee wherever the fuck i want is honestly unreal to me. For years that would have been a luxury for us
hahaha
I mean people dont even realize how much you can pack when water is just falling from the sky.......
Ive used super compacted snow to wipe my ass before as well. I just love camping in the snow man.
Do you remember that feeling when summer is about to come and you'll be relaxed?
That's what winter is like for me lol.

Alaska?
lol. that fish would feed me for 5 solid days
I love all the seasons as they all offer different things to do outdoors. I live in Michigan and we get all 4 distinct seasons usually. In the spring we have all kinds of hunting and fishing opportunities as well as mushroom hunting for morel mushrooms. We have tons of indigenous plants that bear fruits from spring until the fall as well. We have some awesome state and national forest land you can camp on for free all over the state. I own a large tract of land within in a state game area that is 16,000 acres in area. I do guided hunts and fishing when time permits mainly salmon fishing last couple years, I also teach some survival classes when enough interest is there for it.(basic shelter/fire techniques water and food procurement for the season) There's probably 4 square mile area without a house on it with a river running through it and there's shooting ranges and stuff, it's a pretty cool spot. The only thing that sucks is that I have to have satellite internet...lol
