stop trying to rationalize your slaughtering of innocent animals in the wilderness.
You are not hunting for food, you're not some mountain man with no contact to life. You're on the internet for bro you ain't fooling anyone. We all know that as soon as your 3 dinners worth of deer meat is gone you will hop in your truck and hit up the nearest grocery store.
I'm sure you enjoy eating the meat, but that is not your motivation for killing the animal.
You do it for a quick adrenaline rush because there is nothing better to do in your life. There is no skill behind it, its America, most people know how to shoot a gun and be quiet. The only skill you have is sitting in 1 spot doing nothing and you have been training yourself for years because you are a basement dwelling nerd who feels tough once a year when he kills a poor defenseless deer.
You're the ignorant one, its 2012 and you're still slaughtering animals for no reason except entertainment, and you run to the place you belong aka the internet asap to brag about your kill.

I blew up any argument for hunting on the first page, and everyone has been grasping for straws ever since
You can be independent, sure. No one is saying you can't. But what gives a human the right to go out into the animals habitat where it isn't harming anyone, and kill it? Meanwhile if any type of animal were to come into your land and kill a human, there would be a massive hunt to put the thing done.
Again, we are not the ignorant ones here, you guys are stuck in the old ways and can't see that the world has evolved
Alright here are the points you do not want to look at and or are ignorant to.
A few examples of animals that destroy corn fields, soybean fields, and gardens are Raccoons, Deer, Squirrels, and Turkey. Why does this matter? If these animals are destroying whole crops the farmers then have to charge more for these goods thus charging everyone else more for these goods as well and bi produces of these goods.
We constantly invade these animals homes causing them to come into our homes, cities, and streets. Why does this matter? There are approximately 1.5 million car accidents caused by deer and elk per year according to State Farm.
Why do people hunt animals? Its sporting ( yes look at the definition don’t like it then get the dictionary changed), you cannot legally buy these meats, these meats are not sold in stores, with humans (like yourself) living in houses that have taken over these animal habitats these animals are forced to live closer together than they are meant to. This causes disease such as but not limited to Mange, Canine Parvovirus, Rabies, and Chronic Wasting Disease to spread among the animals faster and more commonly. Most of these disease cause vary painful deaths for the animals.
I have made my point about how ignorant and one sided you are about this. I don’t care if you don’t hunt or don’t like hunting or hunters but the facts are facts and hunters are needed.
Also for any of you who believe animals are defenseless then please do tell me why are humans the only ones born with out a way to protect themselves? We have a higher thinking power than the animals that allow us to come up with tools to use to hunt animals that they have better scenes than we have. All other animals also have a shorter growth period than humans. You can not put a 1 year old child vs a 1 year old animal and the child win.
